A first hand look at our recent vacuum excavation works on Brisbanes southside. This project has been operating day and night with multiple services being undertaken including utility locating, potholing & strip trenching.

In this video, we show you the complete process of potholing for underground utilities. ⚒ It begins with the locator marking the ground of the areas in question, vaccuum excavation then begins until the utility is exposed. The surveyor then moves in to mark the locations via GPS and ground re-instatement soon follows.

We just completed a 5 day round trip to Bundaberg in relation to a road upgrade. This included our locator and vac boys locating and exposing 40 utilities, some of which were road crossings. We found high pressure gas, communications,water and electricity. After enduring the hot, dry conditions, we returned safely friday afternoon just in time for a relaxing weekend off.

A road widening project has called for stray coffins to be located before construction can continue. We went out to use the ground penetrating radar to attempt to locate their exact positions. Some graves in this area date back to the late 1800s and were at completely unknown locations and depths.
