Robina Town Centre's $300 million expansion will create one of the Gold Coast's ultimate addresses to shop, play, relax and celebrate. The centre will be significantly remodelled with the creation of three new malls linking with the existing Arbour Lane, Bazaar Street and the Food Markets for an impressive all-weather shopping experience. Already boasting the Gold Coast's only David Jones department store,as well as Target, Kmart, Woolworths and Coles, the expanded retail mix will offer the latest-generation, largest-format Big W, a second Woolworths supermarket and around 100 new specialty stores. Centre Manager Grant Brady says a feature of the expansion will be the development of a landmark entertainment, dining and leisure precinct to be known as the Promenade. The new Birch, Carroll & Coyle complex will house three Gold Class cinemas, seven state of the art Senstadium cinemas as well as Queensland's first GMAX cinema. Other proposed features of the Robina Town Centre expansion include a new 900-seat food court with up to 14 dining options, including banquet seating and new childrens interactive playgrounds.
